Dear Survivor,

We believe you!

What happened to you was not your fault. We know we are not the first ones to tell you, and hopefully will not be the last. We also know that reminding you that what happened to you isn't your fault, does not make the guilt automatically go away. With every passing day, we hope you will pause to look at yourself in the mirror and see who you really are – a strong, resilient survivor.

Let today be the day you forgive yourself. Try to let go of reliving every moment leading to the assault, and each fruitless attempt to figure out where you went wrong.

YOU did not go wrong!

In living your life, a predator violated you, and for a few moments robbed you of control of that situation. Please know your control is not gone. While you cannot control what happened to you, you can control how you respond.

Each day you get out of bed and confront the day, you testify to your strength and resilience; and it is with your extraordinary strength and resilience that you will move forward.

Your story is yours - unique to you, and only you. We know we do not fully understand what YOU are going through, but please know we are in your corner. Your story matters! If and when you are ready to share, we are here to listen.

In the meantime, here’s to you. Your strength inspires us, let it inspire you!

With Love,
